Catalogue will soon be on-line as a wonderful resource for our community. Please feel free to take advantage of this great opportunity to further your religious and cultural education.
His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios dedicated the new Library of the Cathedral on Sunday, February 2nd, 2003. The full service Library was completed with the generous support of the Kallinikeion Foundation, established by Alexandra Kallin, a benefactor of Greek education and culture.
Cathedral Dean Father Robert Stephanopoulos announced that the new Library is the latest addition to several religious, social and educational outreach programs of the Cathedral, already including a weekly Bible Study, full service bookstore, religious study classes, modern Greek Language and culture classes, and live Sunday broadcast of the Divine Liturgy.
The Library is located on the second floor of the Cathedral Center and the books are from Father Robert’s own collection and other donations, ranging from Greek Orthodox theology, Greek culture and history, to world history, ecumenism and writings of prominent thinkers of all faiths. The Library also includes a computer center and video collection and monitor. Donation of books to the Library is welcome and encouraged.
