The Cathedral School & Children's Center

The Cathedral School, founded in 1949, is a non-profit, co-educational, private day school with classes from kindergarten through the eighth grade. In 1988 the School added the Children’s Center which functions as a pre-school for 2.9 to 41/2 year old children. Special programs are also offered in Language, Music, Art and Theater as well as several after school programs.

At the Cathedral School, the belief is that disciplined, inquiring and critical minds be developed in children along with character, integrity and responsibility. The education of the mind and spirit, the ancient ideals of Greek education – Paideia – have been the objectives of the Cathedral since its inception. Combined with Greek Orthodoxy, language and history, these areas are the foundation of the curriculum. The Cathedral School admits students of any race, color, religious belief and national or ethnic origin.

Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten $11,000.00 Full Days

$ 9,000.00 Half Days

Kindergarten – Eighth Grade $10,000.00

*Non-Refundable Deposit Fee $1,000.00

(Due by March 1^st)

Discount for Siblings $2,000.00 per additional child

(Deducted from Tuition)

Optional Fees: Transportation Service $1,600.00

(Bus Service Available to and from Bronx Only)

*The contractual obligations of The Cathedral School and of parent(s)/guardian(s) who enroll students in the school are described in the School’s enrollment contract, which must be signed by both the parties in order to complete the registration process. The non-refundable Deposit fee will be returned of the student is not accepted for enrollment.

For the convenience of parents, The Cathedral School has implemented an optional Tuition Management Payment Plan using the FACTS Management Company. For additional tuition payment options, please consult with the school office or refer to the school's enrollment contract.
