    • Supervised the design, construction, and financial development of the Holy Sanctuary of Saint Mark the Evangelist (700-seat Church), bell tower, and administration building in Boca Raton, Florida.
    • Authored and implemented Sanctuary Building Fund Drive resulting in collection of over $2.5 million in two years with $4 million in pledges.
    • Authored and implemented 5-year Stewardship Plan with Pacesetter Program resulting in doubling of stewardship collections in one year with continued major growth over 5-year period.
    • Increased membership from 250 families to 650+ families during tenure.
    • Increased growth and earnings of parish Greek Festival from a small bazaar to a large festival with over $250,000 gross income.
    • Established the School of Orthodox Studies (SOS) through Palm Beach Community College, Boca Raton, Florida offering weekly Orthodox educational classes at the parish for certification.
    • Established OMAS (Orthodox Mothers’ Agape Society) for bi-monthly fellowship of young adult parish mothers resulting in increased participation of this age group in parish events, as committee chairmen, and parish council members.
    • Established Summer Vacation Bible School, Family Nights, and Welcome Committee; conducted Adult and Youth Retreats, annual Parish Council Retreat; provided pastor’s reflection at all bi-monthly Parish Council meetings; held Lenten Educational Suppers during the Fridays of Great Lent; held pre-marital preparation meetings.

DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

As a certified distance learning leader, conducted quantitative research and developed a comprehensive business plan for the implementation of a distance/distributed learning program for Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. The program allows prospective students interested in pursuing theological education to enroll in courses while remaining in their current occupations. A 3-year curriculum was developed for use in the program that would include cluster/regional classes, summer residency, and website interactive lessons.

EDUCATIONAL AND CD-ROM DEVELOPMENT

Authored and developed the teenage curriculum model for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese entitled “The Cana Curriculum.” This comprehensive 6-step curriculum model was developed to provide instructional resources and assets to religious educators. The model uses constructivist and co-operative learning principles and includes a variety of evaluative instruments.
